Creches

Creches are available at Sutherland, Engadine and Caringbah Leisure Centres. 

Each creche aims to provide a caring and stimulating environment for children of customers using the centre. We cater for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our experienced and first aid qualified staff have a genuine interest in children and will attend to your childs needs. Children can be left for up to 1.5 hours in the creche.

Program activities Activities focus on early childhood development activities including: water play puzzles books hands on activities such as play dough, goop, mix and mess music and dramatic play art and craft construction. Booking procedure Bookings are essential and can be made up to one week in advance during creche hours.

What to bring?

Provide a piece of fruit and drinks for your child and a stroller for children under two. Nappies and a spare change of clothes should also be provided if required. All possessions must be clearly labelled with your child's name.

Important guidelines

The carer must remain within the Leisure Centre, while children are in the Creche.

• All children must be signed in at time of arrival, stating clearly the name of the carer and where they will be located within the centre.
• Let creche staff know if anyone other than yourself will be collecting your children.

Health and hygiene

Please bring children to the creche only if they are well; children with infectious diseases or who are sick cannot be accepted. Creche staff will notify you immediately if there is any problem with your child. No peanut products are brought into the creche.

Cost

Payment is accepted at reception upon entry to the centre; a tag will be given by reception staff which can be deposited in the box provided in the creche. Please see our price list for the latest charges.

• Wednesday 7.55am – 1:30pm, and 4:00pm -  6:30pm
• Thursday 7.55am – 1:30pm

• Saturday 8:25am – 11:30am

ENGADINE LEISURE CENTRE - Creche Hours

• Monday to Friday 9.00am - 12.30pm
• Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm
  

CARINGBAH LEISURE CENTRE - Creche Hours

• Monday to Friday 8.30am - 12.00pm
  
  Creche is closed Saturday and Sundays.
